That sounds like a huge invasion of privacy to me. Some children, like some adults are very modest.

It's called indoctrination. Get the children use to being spied on, so they are use to it early on. If the adults in the UK were doing their job, this wouldn't be necessary.

The cameras are not actually in the cubicals so they cannot show any indecent images. They have cameras in most parts of the school and they are for childrens safety, something that most British people take extremely seriously. Too many children have been assulted or worse, who have commited suicide because of bullying. I think the cameras are a good thing. I have three boys, if kids are not doing anything wrong then they have nothing to worry about.

If the British people took bullying seriously, it seems this wouldn't be a problem in the first place. Tolerance starts at home; if children aren't taught it's wrong to bully there, cameras will only make the bullies smarter about getting around the cameras to attack their victim.

Well not everyone is lucky enough to come from a loving home and parents who teach strong values, I believe that bullying is often a symptom of a child who is emotionally damaged. The cameras are as good as it's going to get in the short term as there is no easy answer or a quick fix.

This is one of the many reasons I left the UK and would never return. "Big Brother" has been around for so long, most people there think this is perfectly normal.

I can understand having an adult monitor sitting in the bathrooms and changing rooms to keep an eye on things, but cameras?
