i saw a painting called "orange, red, yellow" by rothko. it sold for 87 million dollars! it looks horrible! i love paintings but when it comes to "art" that looks like a kid did it or something so simple and type ugly why would people pay this much for such a plain painting? i just don't get it. what do they see? what is so speacial about paintings like these?

i would hate it because it has yellow in it and certain colors bother me bad but if it was orange green blue purple i would like it simply because the colors calm me down
