I see them as hand-held computers with an average-quality phone built in. To be honest, I don't see why anyone would buy a product that sucks so bad they have to make a new one every year.

Because Apple brainwashed them to buy expensive useless crap, and buy the new one as soon as it comes out, meanwhile, my Galaxy Nexus kicks their azz over and over again. I always break it out when the i babble is going on, and say "why is your screen so tiny?"
