They're not. They're hideous. On petite (and average size) women it looks like they have weights tied to the bottoms of their feet. On large women it looks like they've tied some cheese to their feet for later consumption.

To who? Here's a clue: men think they indicate an indecisive mind (i.e. a scatterbrain), who can't decide whether to wear casual flip flops, or attempt something more dressy. Sort of like red basketball shoes with a 3" heel.

they are? I always feel like I look trashy when I wear platform flip flops, but I guess it depends on if your pairing them with a nice outfit or something more causal. They'd probably go better with a nicer outfit.

Honestly, I don't find them attractive. I like wedged boots though.
