They need a boost in their career. If they do or say something outlandish that will bring attention to them then their career gets a boost. Haley Berry wrecked her car and a month later she was offered an acting job. Britney Spears went out without underwear on (really, why would someone announce that?) and got a boost in her album sales. Attention gets attention. Which is why troll questions get answered more than any other. If you ignore them, then they will eventually go away.

Those that are gay don't make a big deal out of it. They are who they are. It is like someone making a big deal that they breathe air. People just need to go about being how they are and not make a big presentation over it. It cheapens the loving relationships that gays have to see someone make a big deal over it. Love is love, sex is sex. People should make a big deal over love, not sex.

Like who other than Cooper? He's been out for a while though, it's just news that he's publicly said so
