    I was chased around a lagoon by a clown at a teddy bears picnic as a small child 0_0 I guess they creeped me out as you can't tell what they look like. It's harder to read their expressions. Sure they act happy but I wasn't convinced. I also hated how clowns seem to know that you are avoiding them and decide to follow you around anyhow.

    I've gotten over my fear of clowns thankfully. I was in a play where I cast as a depressed clown. I guess it's true it's easier to tolerate and understand someone when you walk in their shoes... oversized clown shoes.

    It's an actual phobia called Coulrophobia. It might seem a little ridiculous for us who don't have that fear, but it's actually real and truly terrifying for those who have Coulrophobia. I don't know why, it just is. Just like some people are scared or spiders or snakes or teddy bears. :)
