Because there is little distinction between a modern-day Republican and Democrat. Both fiscally and socially. Parties no longer matter. We're ruled by an oligarchy.

Because all the ones who are decent and reliable know they don't have a chance to beat him, hence why only the stupid and incompetent republicans seem to be running lately.

Also, to answer your question about oligarchies, they're a type of government that's run by a small number of elite leaders. In the past this tended to be families of royal and/or noble birth. Nowadays it can be any privileged group, such as military leaders, or corporate CEO's, or a very small pool of politicians. Or in the simplest terms it's a country ruled by the rich and/or privileged. They tend to be tyrannical in nature, relying on public servitude to exist but a few have been known to be benign. This tends to be the end result for any large scale government given enough time.

Considering the Democrats couldn't even find a natural born citizen to run, I guess the Republicans aren't that bad but I do long for another Washington or Jefferson to show up some day.

It is compulsory to vote in my country... ... I'm not going to lobby and support one though, but I do vote, between two pre selected candidates in the name of so called freedom. I would never support one blindly to the point where I had to come on a website and try to influence public opinon. While I ignore the slights of my so called preference.

Because the viable candidates figure Obama is gonna win and they're waiting around for 2016.

Why? That is hardly to way to run a democratic Country. Every body should have a choice, and each Party should be required to present a Quality Candidate for election!

You can't "make" someone run for President. We need a multiparty system.
