Gee I wonder....how many households are like mine....I work 55-60 hours a week..leaving long before the rest of the house wakes and often times coming home after they've gone to bed...its what I have to do to stay employed. The yard work, home repair and maintenance, keeping everyone's cars running also falls to me. I am rarely able to take a vacation or simply enjoy a day with no worries, no obligations, no demands from those that depend on me. So with all due respect...many men are like me we work...giving our all because that is what is needed, expected...and we feel insulted when we are marginalized by questions like this.

Most women I know really aren't very good at any of those things. That said, I think the reason women are being asked to do more nowadays is because they're supposed to be equals. You want all the rights of men? Great, I think you should have them. But that means you get all the responsibilities too. I think women are just starting to get used to the idea of being true adults, and not just big kids. Its a change I think is good for them, and for men too.
