I guess that to the extent that I am trying hard, it's because it's my nature. I feel like I'm one of those working dogs, like a Bull Mastiff or a German Shepherd. It's in my nature to try, wrong though I may be.

because if i slack off then i will not be prepared for my future, and my husband and children that i have one day will be the ones who suffer from my ignorance. that just wouldnt be fair to them
