Then by that definition as a Canadian citizen I am a person too. So how does a Canadian company get a free pass to help buy another country's elections?

cdn corps have us holdings and hire us workers and are actually considered american because corps are considered living breathing entities

One could argue individual citizens here have interests in the outcome too. I just think it should be an either or thing. Personally I think foreign nationals should not have influence in any sovereign nation's elections.
