Why can I feel crushes but miss out on love?

We only love once in our life. Time may pass by, we will not forget that special someone, and we cannot replace him or her. The feeling for them is unique beyond compare and you will never feel that again. Yes, you will be attracted but the feeling for that someone is different and do not expect to feel that again for someone in the future coz he is the only one who can give you that unexplainable feeling. Nice to hear from you that you get over him (are you sure?). One day, you will meet that someone you might not love him as you love your first love but you will allow him to take care of your heart. Let me remind you, when you want to find that someone no comparison and no expectation. God Bless!

Maybe you're heart is just telling you not to fall too fast because you've been hurt before and you haven't long got over your ex.
Getting hurt does all sorts of crazy things to a person. But you need to experience more of the relationship you have with this guy.
Maybe if you got with your crush, left it a few months. see how it goes.. if it goes well.. then you might fall in love again.
it's probably just a subconcious thing to stop you getting hurt a second time. i wouldn't worry about it. just enjoy yourself, explore. find it within yourself to forgive him for what he's done, and share your love with someone else. it might take time. but it'll happen.

The feeling of being in love is generated by hormones most of the time and little else. If you have a deep and lasting friendship with someone the feelings will be deeper.
