If the world were mad up of true psychopaths there would be no crime. Psychopaths are all highly intellegent and would know better than to walk into the traps of other psychopaths, and those psychos in turn would know better than to even attempt them in the first place for just that reason. Ironic, is it not?

not all psychopaths feel the need to hurt people

Best Answer

Then they are not a true psychopath, a true psychopath gets pleasure from hurting other human beings. From playing mind games with them and using them to get anything they can then dumping them as if they didn't mean a thing. Defending a true psychopath by saying don't want to hurt when that is part of diagnostic criteria is not really going to work.

The term "psychopath" is a medical term, for it is an illness. A very serious one at that. They hurt others because they can't really help it, their brain functions abnormally than others and makes them want to do bad things, think bad things, etc. Instead of isolating them from everyone else, wouldn't it be a better idea to help get them treatment so they can function normally in life?
