Why can't I find a man who will treat me well?

I am recently divorced from a man who was actually mean to me after I treated him like gold for 9 years. We went to marriage counseling for 5 years and he never got a clue. I don't want to be alone but I don't trust my instincts or track record. I just want a companion to share life with and be good to each other. Why can't I find this? Are there good, nice men out there?

Yes, I am sure there are nice men out there.

You just have to learn how to be nice to yourself first and don´t settle for losers that mistreat you just so you can say you are not alone.

Not saying its true in your case but sometimes people who feel they are unworthy themselves tend to look for people who will treat them as they feel of themselves. Sometimes it becomes a repeating life pattern unless we catch it and realize the pattern exists. :-)

Never give up looking. He is out there and do not settle on someone until you find him. Stay friends with him for as long as you can with him until you are sure you can trust him and he is who he claims to be.

Heck, I can't find a woman to treat me well despite all of them telling me what a good catch I am so I don't know what to tell you.

there are lots of good, nice men out there. but chances are, u probably find them boring and unattractive so your not interested in them.
