Why can't you watch shows on the internet?

I know what you're going to say, "Yes, you can watch TV shows on hulu.com or fancast.com" but it's pretty limited.
I was trying to watch the latest episodes of the Girls Next Door (stupid, but I like it) and they don't have those anywhere!! I mean what's the big deal? They already show them on E! and if I hadn't missed them on their regular schedule I wouldn't be looking for them right? And this is with all the shows, they'll show you part of them or the older episodes...I just don't get it.

wow you read my mind- I was going to say, 'yes you can. go to hulu.com". lol. Anyway, it is happening slowly. The only reason you can't right now is because of all the corporate and legal decisions, contracts ect that have to be made. It takes a very very very long time but once a solid plan and conditions are in place that all parties agree on it will happen - maybe not ALL tv shows but I have a feeling the internet will one day replace the TV, and none of the companies will loose too much over it (they will retain their power and their companies will evolve into something better).

I going to say something similar to Duana. Some shows will let you watch for free (aside from like you said on Hulu.com). It is slowly coming around to where all of them will be on the Internet.
