Why complain about a question, when you don't have to answer it?

I have run into questions where someone would comment negatively on the question OR to a person answering the question who's view is different from theirs.

I was wondering, what would arguing and complaining do?

Challenging a question in a civil way should be OK. When you post a question, you have to be prepared for all sorts of responses .. and you might not agree with all of them.

Some constructive debate can open up discussions very well.

But no one has the right to be rude about it.

Define complain, and compare it to what I did? I asked a QUESTION. I am not complaining. Who is PorkBellyPie? He must be a figment of YOUR imagination.
