Why did Lucas & Peyton Leave One Tree Hill? How will the show continue without them?

Really? I don't watch that show anymore, but that was MY show a few years ago...lol. Don't know how they're going to keep going without them

They left because they where tired of doing the show. Same as Tom Welling wants to leave Smallville. A lot of these stars have done these series for a lot of years, they want to move on and who can blame them.

One Tree Hill was picked up for next year, don't know after that.


Smallville was moved to Friday and I have heard that Tom will not be in this season as much as all the others.

Even stars move on.

Chad Michael Murray and Hillarie Burton's contracts weren't renewed for this season. Chad has been reportedly saying that he wanted to move onto other things, anyway but I am disheartened by this news. One Tree Hill was my most wholesome show and I wish they wouldn't leave. I mean, I don't know if I'll watch next season because of this twist. And honestly, I think the writers wanted to do this to throw off the fans because they wanted Season 6 to be the last season but they were bombarded by petitions to keep it going so they decided to keep the show going for a few more seasons, I think.

Ah! This sucks! Without Lucas and Peyton, there is no show, imho. Too bad... I really liked this show too. :-/
