I'm on my 11th batch of "sundried tomatoes" made in the dehydrator and THIS batch decided to mold overnight. Plugged in, still running, temp is the same, humidity the same... I'm stumped. Anyone have a guess? I don't want it to happen again. Thanks

Maybe they all molded, it's just this one molded on the outside?

every tray in the dehydrator is covered in a white spiderweb like mold. I don't get it. I set them up yesterday and left them overnight. I've been doing this for years.

Maybe they were a particularly juicy batch? Or your meters are broken

Roma tomatoes are not that juicy compared to other tomatoes. This is an older dehydrator, no meters. I test temp with a small food thermometer on each tray because I worry about it's age. Sigh. Guess I'll just have to start over and chalk this up as a mystery, and pray it does not repeat :( Thanks for answering.
