It desperately needs food & protection. It may hve liked u. It may hve hoped to get these things from u. Cats are so cute. Pls don't ignore it. Adopt it if u can or at least take it to some cat lover.

It's lonely and wants you to adopt it or pay attention to it.
Could be it's hungry.
Cats have been known to just attach themselves to people.
