    1. because I'm awake
    2. because I just finished filling out 3 job applications for 3rd shift
    3. because the only person you can ever rely upon is yourself
    4. because it's freezing here but I'm NOT turning on the heat in September
    5. I'm thirsty too but too lazy to get up and make cocoa
