    they are searching for identity that is why. each person will find something they connect with in their live's and since people are alway's being born. those thing's they connect with are different then the generation before. madonna in my day lindsay lohan in another's. wouldn't you agree.

    It's probably a societal evolution mechanism to try new things. Personally, I can't wait for the current generation in power, the baby boomers, to be challenged by younger people.

    It's a coming of age thing. Declaring ones independence. Doing your own thing. Nonconformity.

    Until they become adults with children of their own and realize that they were doing the same thing that all people have been doing since the beginning of time.
