Why do dogs insist on getting snacks out of the litter box?

Our dogs are well fed. They get at least two treats a day. The litter box is barricaded and the cats have to jump over a gate to get to it. The dogs will seriously try to sneak in (and sometimes succeed) to get some catbox crunchies. Why, why, oh why, do dogs insist on doing this?!

Avamia	Posted Oct 18th, 2009 at 7:58PM My pit loves ferret doo for some odd reason. Won't eat any other kind of animal doo but ferret. Hum...some mysteries will never be solved. try feeding your cats some stuff that makes thier doo taste bad if its a big problem for you. I know there's a product for dogs that eat thier own. Drs.
