Why do girls cry during their period ?
My girlfriend is starting her period and she cries over every little thing. I have a 16 year old daughter and she does the same thing so I'm use to it. But it just drives me crazy. Me and my girlfriend are laying in bed and she's getting cramps. She's been crying. How can I comfort her ? What should I say to her ?

Hormones... Women may get very emotional at that time. Specially she being so young.

Try some pamprin it helps for cramps. I get serious bacj aches and only viccodin helps that. But our hormones are out of wack theres not much you can say to comfort. Until you have a period just wait til it passes you'll never understand the cycle sorry

Well if you've ever experienced it.. lol you would know that the changing hormone levels can bring out your emotions. you can be more vulnerable and sensitive to things, and of course it can be very painful sometimes. not all of us cry during their periods. there's not much you can do, just something we have to deal with and push through on our own! You don't need to say anything, just maybe offer to get her a heating pad or a hot tea or a soft blanket. I LOVE to be taken care of when I'm bleeding. My boyfriend gives me massages and pets me and kisses me to help me feel comforted. Best bet is to ask HER how you can help.
