Because we grow up next to a television that tells us that this is what beauty is, I do not believe it is true.

Skinny girls are tiny and easier to dominate. A smart man knows a big boned, well built woman will fight back and probaby even beat them up.

Skinny girls sell clothes, and magazines that women buy. I could only guess about guys who want skinny girls, but to me skinny looks like underage (maybe their ideal is a 9-year-old girl with breast implants).

I look at big butts, I cannot lie.
Curves move me, as a hetero guy.
From experience I can say a womanly woman is much nicer to hold, squeeze, etc. than a boyish one.

I don't like really skinny girls, I like women to be, well, woman shaped, not prepubescent boy shaped, and I think most guys would agree

The reason all the girls in magazines are super thin is because fashion designers and photographers like them because it's easier to produce good visuals with a very skinny model, not because they are a guy's favourite shape.

+1 not to mention EVERY SINGLE cosmo, playboy, teen wave whatever magazine cover has been taken 300 times, the best one makes it, and then its photoshopped and doctored to high hell and back.

I am tall, and slim, but not skinny. I would love to be smaller and curvy. Men love small, CURVY, feminine girls.

    are all ""fat"" women single?
are all ""skinny"" women in a happy successful relationship?

    nope and no.

imho, if thats you in your profile pic, eat some cake and stop giving a ****.
a guy that likes you for only your looks = conceded *** wipe
a guy that likes you for who you are = decent guy

Not in my case. I already have a flat chest and small hips. Give me some nice big boobs, full lips on a curvy woman any day.

It amazes me how illogical women are sometimes...they see a couple of "body issue" articles or see skinny girls on their own magazine covers (Cosmo) and think that automatically means guys must like really skinny girls. Completely untrue. Use your brain here. Is Kim Kardashian really skinny? How about Sofia Vergara? Christina Hendricks? Anna Nicole Smith (when she was alive)? Nope, not even close to skinny and men love them. The funny part is, it's WOMEN who are spreading these ideas that men only like really skinny women...and it's women who are creating "body issues" amongst themselves. Having said all that, at least heavy women have control over looking better. A couple of months of hard work and you can fix that problem for free with no surgery.
So, people who are depressed over weight issues get no sympathy from me, sorry. You can eat right and exercise and have total control over fixing the situation. Being depressed and looking for sympathy is the easy way out instead of working hard to change. People who lose a loved one or are born with a birth defect are people who are allowed to feel depressed because they have no control over those things happening to them. There are a lot worse things in this world to feel depressed about than being overweight.
I have a question for you: if Channing Tatum and some fat dude asked you on a date at the same time, who would you choose? Exactly, so don't be so depressed when you'd make the same choice on the flip side of things.

kind of harsh... but realistic. although i think what she was getting at is that she dosent feel skinny enough, not that shes overweight +1 for the thought that malicious women spread these rumors (i hope theres no guy in the ceo chair of cosmo haha) another +1 for telling it like it is -1 for being completely unsupportive

The same could be said why do women prefer good looking men over ugly men. We all like nice looking things.

Not into skinny girls more average build. As long as they don't have a lard ***, a gut and double chins I'm fine. Really skinny is more acceptable than fat but not really my thing.

errr we don't. not all of us. Just a whisper in you ear and being careful becaue of your delicate age. A guy may feel a skinny girl is smaller in certain places which makes the guys feel bigger! especially if they are well....smaller than average themselves.

ugh, no, guys like who they like. generally like obesity is a turn off to most people but not being skinny doesn't mean much. it all depends on your body type, your personality and the guy, and maybe your face too, i think faces are more important than bodies lol. different people like different things.

There are some guys that like bigger girls. I knew this skinny guy once that made comments about loving fat women, I didn't believe him until I met his wife. She was well over 250 lbs. I like thin, but not really really skinny.
