I tried a xanax the other day. It stopped the shaking but everything was still running through my mind. I think being alone would help

Probably, except I've gone to several great psychologists and psychiatrists and nobody's been able to help.

You may not be menstruating right now, but hormones are at a higher level during an age of prime fertility.

HUH.. Okay, I am not experienced but listen. All you need is to change the way you think.
    Just remember this :
"Anything happens in your life, be Grateful for it. "
    -Buddha
I'll give you an eg : Suppose someone you fall in a pit, be grateful for it and thank God for for making you realize that you should be more careful. You could had fallen in a deeper pit.
    And memorize this :
'I am having ....______..... problem in life, but I will try harder and get over it. I accept myself as whom I am.'
Say this when you regret over something, till you mind becomes stable.

You might be wondering, that I and talking bullshit but its not. It works.

Anger comes from grief, regret, jealously and betrayal.

Take this seriously, this will help you.

First thing I tried was things like this, motivational, faithful, spiritual, and all different kinds of amazing advice and sayings that i know and adore and i even pass on to others. unfortunately though when i'm short tempered, it does nothing to actually help me calm down, i just add to my guilt because i know its wrong, i know i'm doing and trying everything, and i dont know why it happens in the first place. btw, there's no grief regret or jealousy etc. i've been like this since I was born lol Well much worse then. i was a very depressed and violent (beat people up, push them down the stairs, break their front tooth violent lol). Luckily all that changed by the time i was 8 or 9 but now even at 23, i feel short tempered, but more than that its mostly just getting really quickly overwhelmed and stressed out and then just having to leave the situation which is usually normal like being with family and planning something or helping my brother with homework and then getting frustrated because i dont' even understand the question. i'm not retarded, i get weird.

I started asking myself that question a few years ago. When I would get pissed I would ask myself "is this something I am going to let **** me off"? Then I would change my mood or whatever. Start by observing yourself, it is a normal reaction, obviously by the former post but you have the power to change how you react to any and all circumstances. You need to keep your power don't let the thing have the power!
