Why do I have to be the one who changes?

Why not? Everything changes, it's natural. I'd be more concerned about being someone who cannot or will not ever change.

You don't. It would be ideal if he/she liked you for you, and didn't force you to change so much.

Change is the only constant in our lives. Personally, I can remember being very angry at all the changes I was expected to make in my life. I was very self-centered, self-absorbed person. It was also very rare that I considered other people to be human. It was a long, difficult process but life has run smoother and there is more joy in my world.

In the realm of the heart, there should always be a give and take. If all parties in the relationship are not willing to compromise, either your in a 24/7 D/s type relationship or in the beginnings of an unhealthy relationship. Talk to your partner or partners (whichever the case may be) and let them know how you feel. Remember not to attack them with your words. It will only start a fight and nothing will be resolved. Listen to the answers they give you, consider them if only for a moment. The only way relationships work over the long term is when everybody gives a little, when everybody changes, and when everybody is willing to talk out the problems that arise.

When we think about changing it is not what you think,we change to become more wise,To see things the way we have never seen befor.Like looking at an object there is so much more to the object then the object it self.To get something across to a person,we may have to learn several different ways till they fully understand.There are fifty ways to make an apple pie but you don't stop at one if you don't like it.Changing is always in your favor!It will add to your life and only make you a better person so much smarter too

because we can ONLY change ourself....we can't change anyone else as much as we would like to.

Because if it's important enough to you, you won't care.
