Why do I laugh when someone says something mean about someone else? I'm I cynical? ...

Don't get me wrong if it gets too repetitive ...I distance myself.

A lot of people do that. Some people that laugh at things like that aren't even cruel people. You can't control what you think is funny.

No, I'd say somewhere with in you, you agree with what is being said. Or not brave enough to tell them they are just mean.

I don't agree, I just find it funny, because in my mind, people that are mean are funny...cause in really there is something wrong with them..

No you are wise and experienced and know that they can be as mean as they like because the person they hurt most is themselves :)

Cynical is not the correct term.

    Sadist, possibly. Schadenfreude, more likely.

I think I'm mostly like that when the misfortune happens to people who put themselves very high on a pedestal...and are jerks...but definitely not with everyone
