Hmm. To answer your question I'd say that one must look at a different question to find the answer. Why do people drink?

Of course, that answer is equal to the length of a piece of string. But, for me, I suppose the reason people drink is because of A) Peer/social pressure and B) To forget/surpress problems in their lives. Multply by a lot, and maybe there's your answer. :]

I can drink a lot, too, and I'm a woman. It's not a vice that's determined by sex.

They haven't grown up. I drink, but I'm past the point where getting **** drunk is fun anymore. I like to remeber my nights...plus, I make bad choices when I'm drunk. ;)

I have seen women drink quite a bit too. I agree with studentof life....it has nothing to do with one's sex.
