So they don't tempt men to think dirty thoughts
That's how it was explained to me, too. Like the women are responsible for men's thoughts...sheesh !
Flip that- that men are so out of control a burka is required to protect women
Its like a tradition... they keep their faces hidden so outside men can't see it and hence don't start flirting with them... idk really.. : /
Well.. u know u're challenging 21st century men.. they can flirt with even a single hair.. lol..
To avoid being photographed shop lifting by the CTV.
A mask like the highway robbers used to wear in the 18th century.
Good answer. After the London bombing incident one of the guys escaped wearing a full Muslim woman's habit.
Who said that they have to?
"One of the extremes of burqa is the Afghan burqa, which was enforced by the Taliban. This burqa covers the entire body in loose clothing with the face (including eyes) being covered with only a grille for the women to look through."
No where in the Quran or Sunna it says that a woman has to cover her face, that what counts - I don't care about whoever says whatever, we only follow the Quran and Sunna.
For the same reason that, for centuries, Catholic women had to cover their heads in church ...bullsh*t tradition!
probably 'cause of their mustaches......
they dont have to
some of them do it
because they want to get away from troubles, they dont want to be known and men from outside flirt with them
but its not a MUST!
so that they don't get a tan
why not?
its freedom dude
Actually it's traditionally quite the opposite of freedom.
u wrong actually they don't want u to flirt with them
Muslim women are not obligated to cover their faces, although in places like Saudi Arabia it is more common to see that. A covering called hijab only covers the hair, ears and chin. The niqab (mostly commonly seen in places like Saudi Arabia) covers everything expect the eyes. These coverings are to protect the women from having man only like her for her looks and not for who she is as a person.Wearing these coverings is a CHOICE made by the WOMEN. It is not a decision made by men
Its not necessary to cover their faces
they don't have to
"In Saudi Arabia, women wear a loose robe called abaya and a face veil called niqab, while in nations like Tunisia or Turkey; Muslim women tend to wear only a headscarf. In Iran, they take a step further and the “fashion police” mandate all women to wear loose clothing – preferably a black or white robe – when going out, women are also supposed to wear either a full face veil or scarf. One of the extremes of burqa is the Afghan burqa, which was enforced by the Taliban. This burqa covers the entire body in loose clothing with the face (including eyes) being covered with only a grille for the women to look through."
So the men get more aroused.
They probably do not need to they are just attention seeking idiots that should be deported back to India.
The mind boggles.
Freedom is wonderful - right up there with the freedom not to listen.in ur case to look
and other silly cases toshut the f@k up
like some idiot ho said ..cos they r f@.kin ugly
ps i am not muslim but why tarnishing muslims
In the middle east, the practice predates Islam, much the way women covered their heads in European countries. It's taken from a line about covering you beauty or something of the like in the koran as justifican for modern women adopting the tradition. It is not however something all Muslims agree is a dictate of Islam. It's has a lot to do with culture and age as it's more popular now than it has been in recent history many places.
Because they are so beautiful! If a man sees too much of a Muslim woman, he could trip and fall, so bedazzled would he be by her beauty!!
christian used to have to do it as well... guess men can't stand intelegent women :P
It is a way of silenceing somone by forbidding him/her to show him/herself :D
yeah but you know religion started as a way to controle, and the christans used to do the exact same thing... it's yust about 500 years ago... what a coincidence... the arab calandar started about 500 years after the christian...
I don't question them, this are just some facts about them...
