define fact........it's usually only possible to use purely deductive reasoning in mathematics - everything else is a product of some inductive reasoning...

also - in western civilization we are conditioned to seek answers from 'authority' - which results in people believing things that are presented to them without independently considering or developing their own perspective....it is SCARY all to prevalent and it MAKES ME CRAZY(er)

Well some people are very charismatic and can sell sand to an Arab. It's up to people to check the facts and when they are lazy it's what they get.
