Even though studies have shown the underlying mechanism of a migraine is exactly the same as a T.I.A stroke (vascospasm) they're the same thing...a migraine is a weaker form of stroke, with the same symptoms so really they're the same. But point out that a migraine sufferer has just had a mini stroke and needs to be checked out, they deny it. Real name if a Migraine is called a Transient ischemic attack. Migraine is a term used by mothers to not make their kids freakout and think it's just a bad headache. The symptoms between the 'two' are indistinguishable. It's like saying, heart attack and heart failure are different, just because there's a few names for the same condition. They should be treated as they are, they're the same condition.
