    Because they do not see themselves doing it. You have to video tape them for them to see and hear that they are.

    no kidding, all my favorite cartoons (e.g., Flintstones, Yogi Bear, etc.) have some awesome snoring...how else do we know someone is sleeping....they might otherwise be playing opossum.
