    Nothing's certain nd not everyone does, in the past when I started to look and notice my ego, I mean really watch it at times when I personally was on happy I realised that there is a sense of enjoyment addiction to feeling down wanting to self destruct , and then again there was part of my true self that wanted to feel happy and deal with life in a positive way

    When they're in their own misery, nothing else can bring them down, since they're already at a low point. The last thing that they want is to be brought down even more. So the safest place they can be from that is in their own misery.

    Misery isn't fun, that's why its called misery instead of happiness. People get stuck there because its easier than trying to be happy and have that door slammed in their face again.
