It's just a bit difficult to judge sometimes. People post some fairly obnoxious questions and answers sometimes, but when you aren't face to face with them, you never know whether they are joking or not.

without the benefit of knowing what conversation you're referring to, i will broadly speculate that sometimes there are things that some aren't able to laugh at or find funny. you never know what's going on with somebody on ay given day. though they should take some time to cool off before responding.

It is amazing how many times simple comments are misconstrued and at times, a relationship was ruined by it. Some of us who hate consternation have actually gone out of their way to try to exonerate themselves over something they never did or said. Negativity breeds negativity and some people just look for it no matter what you say or do. I would never hurt anyone on purpose and people who know me should know that. Some people easily hold grudges over things they never understood to begin with and some are incredibly hard to reason with no matter what the issue. They are right and you are wrong period. Unfortunate, right?
