Coz of bloated ego, false pride and a fear that their "image" wil go down and most importantly, coz they dont really value the persn on the other end..If they value, they would do any thng to convince, even,if it means, going down on their knees and apologising
My pet hate - the false insincere wasn't my fault apology: "I'm sorry you feel that way".
a prideful narcissistic nature that impulses swiftly through the mind impeding the sometimes eventual delayed honesty of the heart.... <br />
after all, to relinquish power is the most difficult action <br />
because once it's relinquished- to regain equal or greater momentum of power is that close to impossible<br />
weakness is a fear that impels actions that will constantly lead towards survival tactics <br />
when faced with the situation- "of apologizing"<br />
- it's typical for those who aren't used to bending their ways of "power"- <br />
(from aka -i'm right... you're wrong attitude) <br />
to apologize..... BUT not until they've recognized and acknowledged that they are in the complete wrong <br />
then with a struggling nature they submit to relinquish and finally accept a PARTIAL or complete truth past the narcissistic habit of survival.... to utter <br />
"I'm Sorry or I was Wrong"
I believe it is because of pride.
I'm not sure. It's so much easier to do that when you ARE wrong.
Internet Mentality has taken over throughout the years. People got used to saying whatever they wanted and not having any consequences. And with time, that bled into other forms of social interaction.
I don't admit I'm wrong or apologize when there are people that are complete douches about it. <br />
It's a prideful thing. I usually do it otherwise. That could be a reason.
