Why do some men like women who are scared and think they need the mans protection?

I don't see any thing to admire in them and have often wondered what the attraction was.

People naturally gravitate towards relationships with their equals. Those men are as scared as the women, they want to feel like someone needs them.

As a strong, successful woman, I don't know any men like that in a romantic way.. so I can't tell you.

I will say some men don't want a strong woman/equal partner, but that goes both ways, I think. I know some women who want a guy they can either boss around or who will "protect" them.

To each their own, I suppose...

i have no understanding of that. i prefer very confident, dominant women. maybe they're afraid of strong women.

Because it makes them feel strong and manly to play the role of savior and protector. People like that are not looking for someone they respect, but rather to play a certain role.

Some men like to be in control and women who "think" they need a man are easier to control. Being "needed" pumps some guys ego's. Not me!

Ego.....worse yet is the manipulation they can't see through makes them not only look insecure but also stupid.

Those type of men, NEED to control women, and what easier woman to control, than one who is scared and doesn't stand up for herself?
