Why do some people always choose to have a bad day? Argh!

There is this guy at work that always has a bad day! I always choose to have an awesome day no matter what happens! What do you think? Is he just not getting enough attention?

Some enjoy wallowing in their own misery. And some have bad days. Sometimes it how you deal with what comes at you. Other time it's how long you have to be buried under the pile of rocks that just fell on your head.

You're right! I think this one is a wallower! I notice he gets a ton of attention by doing this. Maybe the attention fills a void for him.

Problem is, people tire quickly of the wallowers. He's looking for a temporary fix and needs to find another way to fill that void or he'll remain lonely.

Every day you wake up is a good day and has potential to be the best of you're life, makes no sence to me to allow ones self to stay in a funk

I have a "my cup is always half empty" for a husband, and it's a drag. He can find negative in puppies lying on a down comforter with flowers all around, you know? It's crazy. It's something that they inherit or witness too much of, and take it on. I hate it.

Perhaps they do not believe they have the power to make the choice.

It is in their genes or behaviour.

If you cannot have a good day seems like you might want to see a counselor or psychaitrist. I do and I can now choose to have awesome days and I do.
