I agree with Zebzz; they are control freaks and when they feel they are losing control their anxiety turns into aggression.

Sometimes (my experience) is because you may have questioned their suggestion or queried their direction in something they want to do. That's one way a control freak behaves.

People utilise what they have found works for them,or the example they have been set.Look at the authorities,governments,police,councils etc,they have all become arrogant and aggressive in attitude.

really immature or unstable - it is also possible they're just having a bad moment and taking it out on you
