Resolved Question

Why do some people leave random thoughts in the question section instead of leaving a question?

Hey, it's not that I have a problem with it, I am just asking.
Do you think there should be a section that is for people to post thier random thoughts and get feedback on them instead of going through the question section?

I've left a few random thoughts but prefer to put a question with them.

I don't know but it is annoying. As are all the rude people that seem to lurk over here.

I love Why questions because there are so many individual elements in the answers. I don't know why. I do see more than a few participants in EP that blur the lines between each format of communication. Blogs, Q&A, Groups, Circles, Experience, Confessions. Each suggests a certain format, but I find people will journal or chat blog in the question section. I've seen short questions in the blog sections. Etc. to look on the positive side, its all communication, and you could also say its creative communication. Good stuff is always worth looking for.

A lot of people on here seem to be very random, and do not understand the etiquette of the site. It makes for frustrating reading!

I don't see anything wrong with it. Sometimes people just want feedback on their thoughts. If you don't like it then just move along.

A good question - it reminds me of time many years ago when I was watching a koala sleeping up a tree and wonderign just what kind of dreams they have ... *disappears of in contemplation*

I agree with Elegance. Not every question should have to be in question format. It's all about feedback, IMO.

Criticizing people, though, can alienate those who've come here for help. Be careful not to form a posse. Online angry mobs aren't fun.

Probably because Q&A is the only part of EP they ever use. Personally i think random thoughts belong in a blog, then we wouldn't have to read them.

Random thoughts can also bring back guidance.
