Because they speak Spanish ,and forgot how Spain was a super power and conquered a chunk of the world , I also don't like the term Latino , they don't speak Latin but that's how you know the Catholic Church had they hands in all those genocides

If that was meant for me, I deleted the comment because I misunderstood the answer I was replying to. I thought jeanemae was saying that Hispanic and Spanish were not alike, when instead they meant that Hispanic and Latino refer to more people than Spanish does.
