Back in the day when they conceived the idea of super heroes they ba
sed their costumes off of the wrestlers of the time who wore spandex and what not. Guess the underwear on the outside just stuck right up unitil now. Like (2)

So when it's brown trousers time and the enemy have them within their clutches, the stains are easily hidden beneath some trusty, stain resistant fabric.
