    So you will learn to obey. So when you are an adult you will be brainwashed into having a job.

    Believe me, school is not about learning anything! Most of what you encounter in school will never have anything to do with the rest of your life!

    I totally agree. If they do give homework it should be more like research. Like 'Find out all you can about......' or ' Review a film at the cinema or a book you enjoy etc.. Find out your family tree. Stuff you can't necessarily do at school.

    I completely disagree with homework, and let's be honest, judging by the quality of literacy and numeracy they're doing a pretty bad job in the classroom to start with.

    They can only cover so much material in the ten months you have with them. You've got to do some stuff on your own as well if they're ever going to get past the first chapter of a textbook.
