It is our spirit that feels. There is no biological/evolutionary explanation for feelings.

Do you mind explaining? Sounds interesting

pain is explained as a way for us to know that we are getting cut, for example, and to avoid it. Burning is explained so that we pull our hand out of the fire. But love and sadness have no biological/evolutionary necessity.

So we know we are real. Without the pain how would we know what happiness felt like?

so that we can know joy and understand the gift of life

We feel because we have a heart.Part of our heart is the seat of our emotions. When God made us,in His.Master plan,he created us with .a heart,a soul,a mind,a body.We are spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional beings. If we didn't.feel anything,we would be zombies,or robots.Even though there are times, when we feel numb in life.....or we.don't always ba<x>se our decisions on our feelings.....we have them......They let us know, when we are in pain,or in love,or feel great.....or lost, angry, disappointed, ect. They are ,emotional check points.Yet,many times you do something, you don't feel like doing, but you choose to,for the higher good.
