I can relate to this question. This happened to me.
In my case, they are with the wrong person but are afraid of breaking up the relationship because their partner has a very dark history and might physically hurt themselves if the relationship ended.Like (2)

the dramatics are incredible and i think that there is more to it than just that..but you hit a little "hmmm" to get me to "not think" i'm nuts for "thinking" just that...

wrong reasons ? no guarantee's for anything or anybody, we take our shot try our best and take lots of pictures, and if you're lucky, 34 years later, you get to sit on the couch holding hands and watch your grandchildren act silly...like me

Similar to what LifesGardner said, they may be with them for very good reasons, reasons that teach their soul what it came to this present life to learn. What is wrong in one person's eyes may be very right in another's.

If they are your "matching soul" would they also not figure it out eventually? If not then they probably aren't, you just feel they are.

They may not be with the wrong person, they just haven't got the lesson yet. I think we can have more then one matching soul and a soul can match more then one person. Sorry though, it's a tough one.
