You are preaching to the choir. They do suck especially when you are having feelings and the other person may not be having those you would want them to have. On the other side of the coin, it's nice to be able to feel and not be stoic or worse yet like a sociopath. You will make it through this, just keep busy.

Emotions can bring about intense heartache. Grieving the loss of someone in your life can be difficult; whether through death, or some other form of separation such as divorce, or a break up. This means that they meant something to you. You opened up and allowed yourself to be vulnerable, to care about someone perhaps more than yourself, to experience the beauty and wonder of being in love. We are social beings, and it is through those connections that we grow, understand, and live life itself. It is through loss sometimes that we come to appreciate what we have even more, and don’t take it for granted realizing what a dear and precious gift it is right before us.

There is nothing that could have existed without emotions..other than rocks. its this emotion that you have come on this earth and same goes with every living being. learn to nurture the emotions and handle them. To me there is no difference between nature's love for us and our emotions...they go together for our existence.

As a kid they do. They are raw and not understood

You think that now, but ask anyone who's been on medications to reduce emotions. More often then not they hate it.
