Why do we import American flags made in China, this sounds stupid and unpatriotic?
I am sick of the cheap crap made in Cina and forced onto America. Americans need to take a patriotic stand and start buying American made stuff. The American flag made in China is an epitome of the modern American trade.

It's the same here in Australia with our flags - which,like so much else,used to be manufactured here.

I saw that on the news also. Someone in Congress is introducing a law to prohibit this in the future, as it should be. We shouldn't have any American Flags made by anyone other than Americans.

Because they are cheaper to make there- alot of their factories only pay 25 cents an hour- no company in America can compete with that.

I've seen flags made in China being sold in the US; it sickens me. Only buy products made in your country. It takes effort and you will probably pay more, but as long as their is a demand, the Chinese and the companies who have plants there, will continue manufacturing goods in China.

It boils down to that most American of things, Capitalism. Flags made in China are cheaper, thus sell better. I personally would rather have a well made flag then a cheap one, that's why I try to buy American. Unfortunately, America doesn't make the best of nearly anything anymore, so when I buy kitchen knives and glasses, I go Japanese, and when I buy a watch, I either buy Swiss or German. Go figure.
