We grow up innocent with eyes wide open, create problems and issues to make life hard... and then go back to looking for what we had in the first place?

    Hmmm. Curious thought. Probably because we are lusting after experience and only later realize that some of it we could have done without just fine.

    OH, the moment of choice. Yeah, bittersweet. But once we see, we do have to embrace, or else no boarding HMS Maturity.

    Because our parents teach us *their* way, not *our* way, so paths that arn't even paved yet (ours as individuals) are bound to have snakes poison ivy etc along the way...and it's not easy.

    Curiosity and envy of others, and many just bite off lot more than they could chew, or get into trouble as a by-product of dealing with toxic people

    listening to ourselves would help us avoid a lot of problems-although it also has to do with other things I mentioned
