Why do you think differently during the day than you do at night?

It seems it's easier to be more open and emotional at night?

I think you have more time at night to allow yourself to think...and I agree about being more open and emotional....maybe its the darkness, you feel more protected from the outside world? So its easier to let your guard down.

maybe because, during the day comes the responsibilities. and during the night comes the luxury of "thinking and feeling" what transpired the whole day. perhaps because i am a night person so i'm comfortable at night (when everyone is sleeping) with the "sound of silence" which is deafening...

I hate to think at night my mind wanders too much and all the things that I don't want to think about come flooding in.

People are winding down at night, I read somewhere that Hitler gave a lot of his speeches later in the day because of that.

I'm not working at all right now, just sitting here in pj's. I know if it was 11pm right now I would be pursuing something.

hmm i'm kind of the opposite; by nighttime, my brain goes into shut down mode, so I'm more quiet and...sleepy:)

haha i'm not sure but at night I seem to become much more anxious and worried. Things that seem like no big deal during the day seem monumental at night!
