Why do you think more women than men like to go dancing?

Or perhaps I'm just making that assumption based on my own experience...but why are women more willing to make fools of themselves than men?

Tough to pick an answer here -- and, no, I've never seen John Wayne dance, now that you mention it. But it's true -- the men who get up and dance ARE quite popular with the ladies! :)

Love this question e/g. Been wondering it myself for a long time.

I think LP has it in one - they dont want to look silly in front of other men. Even the men I know that dance really well, wont. Oh - except for a few of my cousins - who are confidant enough not to worry about looking silly, and care enough about their ladies to ask them to dance.

Tip to men - they were very popular guys.

I mean, how many times have you been to a wedding where there about about 8 women dancing with each other on the dance floor because they can't find dance partners? Then again, it could also be the old "I don't ask for directions" syndrome. Admitting you're lost...or in this case, can't dance that well...is a fate worse than death for some guys.
