Because his opponent was too right wing for some peoples tastes, not to mention he flip flopped on his policies far too much....oh and 8 years of George Bush did not help much either.

Best Answer

Fox said it was because he was TOO MODERATE! LOL

Best Answer

Well he flip flopped lol

Best Answer

Because he ran a very, very good campaign in the swing states.

Best Answer

i agree; i mean his ground game was just sensational; and minority voters didn't hurt either...

Best Answer

Because the Republicans couldn't come up with a moderately decent candidate.

Best Answer

he is black. That is all. If he was white and destroyed America the way is is doing, he would be gone. That simple. The exit poll data has shown this, albeit to my surprise (not his)

Best Answer

that's a bunch of malarkey george; stop making it all about race...

Best Answer

93% of black voters voting for a black president is racist in its purist form. Keep moving forward. LMAO

Best Answer

And furthermore, you should not be advising on matters that you are not educated in. It makes you look like you voted for obama

Best Answer

and 90% of Romney's total vote coming from whites is...

Best Answer

He is awesome. That is all.

Best Answer

true dat!

Best Answer

59% of white for Romney. You are a freaking idiot.

Best Answer

You know, I'd think that 100% of previous Presidents being white was a better example of racism.

Because Romney is an idiot.

Best Answer

Because everyone saw who really cares about this country and who deosnt.

Best Answer

That's the narrative. Whether it is true or not.

Best Answer

Oh no sir you are not allowed to praise the president for you are a black man. Everyone will know you're a racist!

Best Answer

I think the majority is genuinely afraid of what Romney represents

Best Answer

All the media functions as his propaganda machine, and the average voter is a fool on welfare who was indoctrinated by public union schools. .

Best Answer

If public schools indoctrinate people, why did Romney get so much of the vote? Wouldn't indoctrination mean like, EVERYONE vote Obama? Or are there special de-brainwashing camps Republican freedom fighters host?

Best Answer

hey our first G Republican a**hole of the day!

Best Answer

After 20 years or so most people start to unlearn all the brainwashing. It generally takes as many years to wear off as you spent being indoctrinated and trained to be obedient serfs.

Best Answer

BarvoDelancy-don't stress Dozer Dan is confused...

Best Answer

Thanks for the demo, DIYman.

Because the GOP has listened to right wing religious nuts. These nuts have put a hole in the GOP. Like saying "a baby from a rape is Gods will"? The GOP should have stuck to the economy and thrown out all the social agendas.

Best Answer

Because we got the Democrat vote AND the vote of those on the fence. Because Obama represents the values we appreciate. Because he's already proven himself to those who also represent those values. Because he easily won over the Latino votes who are foolishly rejected by the Republican party. Which is kind of funny because Latinos are generally more conservative-minded pro-life, pro-capital punishment, pro-nuclear family/traditional values. They are quite valuable and growing more valuable every year. Dems know this. Republicans SHOULD. (I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!)

Because given the basic science education in this country, we're not fooled by those who insist Creationism is a science and don't want it taught to our children as such. Because Obama represents the face of America these days. Because he values education enough to invest in students. Because his opponent did not. His opponent didn't really ever state WHAT he was for. He lacks charisma. He looks uncomfortable. All.The.Time. He treats the poor like we're freeloading losers who just don't work hard enough or take responsibility for ourselves. Yeah, the 47% thing he thought was a fun inside joke, that he thought wouldn't get leaked? His supporters high-fived him for that, but it was still a crappy thing to say about your countrymen.

Because of the birthers and Trump and Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck have RUINED the the reputation of the Republican Party. RUINED.

Best Answer

my friend, this is absolutely brilliant! You now have the Best Answer:)

Best Answer

Thank you! :)

Best Answer

The Republican Party isn't doing so well. They need to change some of these conservative view points and be more modern if they have any chance winning the next election.

Best Answer

The short and simple answer is the Hispanic vote and the growing recognition of a nation that the republican party has become unhinged with a presidential candidate who dismisses half the country as bums, refuses to release his tax records, refuses to provide a balanced budget plan, and panders to every audience. It wasn't just Obama being reelected, but democrats gaining semi-control over the senate, two states legalizing gay marriage, and two states even legalizing marijuana. This is the biggest slap in the face of the overwhelmingly evangelical fundamentalist Tea Party imaginable. A wake up call that says get your crap together you ignorant hillbillies and learn to get along with people or go the back of the line.

Best Answer

Because the election system works that way

Best Answer

The Republicans failed to nominate a Protestant Christian.

Best Answer

I thought it was hilarious when the fundamentalists started justifying the LDS church after years and years of calling them anything from "not Christian" to "anti-christ demons".

Best Answer

First President to fail the flip of party during a depression without declaring war. Bush Jr. started a war to avoid the flip.

Best Answer

Because our system is crooked.

Best Answer

No matter who won....it's all crooked.

Best Answer

jack mormons break all the rules.

Best Answer

huh? are you saying Obama cheated?

Best Answer

that's silly.would it be crooked if mitt won.bush was the last one who LOST the vote but won the electoral votes.

Best Answer

No....i'm saying the whole system is crooked. In my opinion, the president these days is nothing but a patsy, someone for society to blame when things go wrong, so we don't look further and see the root of the problems.

Considering his record, it defies conventional wisdom. More people disapprove of Obamacare than approve of it, the economic performance is pitiful-I think it is the GDP growth percentage that is the number that's lower than FDR's during the depression. Gas prices, foreign blunders, jobs, debt, spending, big government. All should have worked to defeat him; and nearly did. An incumbent with a mediocre record should sail to an easy victory because voters do not like to throw out incumbents.
----------------------------------------------------
He did have the media on his side. That is verifiable fact. Just three examples are Candy Crowley's defense of him-with false information that she admitted to within hours-during the debate; and CBS' 60 minutes excerpts released weeks after the interview regarding his trickery on the Benghazi incident; and the Mainstream Media's non-coverage of the Benghazi incident and subsequent cover-up.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Superstorm Sandy helped to freeze Romney's surge, give enough time for Obama to look presidential in a crisis without enough time for the misery of it to set in, and Christie effectively endorsed him a week before the election.
-------------------------------------------------
Romney did not maintain enough pressure on Obama's record while sufficiently defeating the false narrative of demonization that Obama did on him.
------------------------------------------------

Best Answer

nah...

Best Answer

He was predicted to win before Sandy.

Best Answer

DIYman-that's it, huh? lol.
Cyn- Yes, but Romney was moving ahead. Which is a standard scenario with an incumbent.

Best Answer

yeah i thought it was funnily fitting lol:)

The media lies and covers up the treason and murderous actions of high governmental officials ... there's enough proof to jail Obama, Clinton and Panetta for the planned murder of the CIA gun running Chris Stephens.

Best Answer

The way all presidents are elected by a popular vote and electoral college. Am I missing something here?

Best Answer

Because the white mans the devil !

Best Answer

Yep. White man is the source of all the evil in the world. Only obama can save us from the stupidity of Bush, Reagan and JFK.

Best Answer

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.
