Since Paul and Ringo make a great rhythm section, they could work with any two other guitarists. Two with song-writing skills, of course. It would never be the Beatles, as I think Paul is right about that group.
I've heard it said, and I tend to agree, that it isn't so much about ability (playing, writing, etc.), but personality compatibility. Can you imagine travelling the world many times over in three years and remaining cramped in a hotel room most of the time?
Still, something good could happen.
I'm a huge fan. I would want one of those guitarists to produce a song like George's THE INNER LIGHT.
